Meet Trent.

Hi! If we haven't met yet, I'm Trent Linville. Along with my wife Jessi and our daughter Norah, I've called Spring Hill home for almost a decade. Before then, I was born and raised in Franklin, attending school at Battle Ground Academy. Like many of you, I was drawn back to Middle Tennessee after graduating from the University of Tennessee and Belmont University College of Law because I saw the incredible potential of this area. I was originally elected as the Ward 4 Alderman back in 2021 and serving our community has been one of the great honors of my life.

In 2021, I founded Linville Estate Law from the ground up (starting with just me and a laptop), and I'm proud to say we've grown it into a seven-figure business with 11 total team members serving families throughout Williamson County with their estate planning needs. As a small business owner, I understand firsthand what it takes to build something from nothing—managing budgets, making tough decisions, and always staying focused on long-term success while handling day-to-day challenges.

Building and running a successful business while serving as your alderman has given me a unique perspective that I bring to every city decision. I approach our city's challenges the same way I approach my business: with careful planning, fiscal responsibility, and always keeping an eye on both immediate needs and future growth. Whether it's analyzing budgets, evaluating infrastructure investments, or negotiating with regional partners, I rely on the same skills that have helped me build a thriving business right here in our community.

During my first term on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, I've worked hard to tackle Spring Hill's biggest challenges head-on. When I saw we needed a stronger voice in regional transportation decisions, I stepped up to serve as Spring Hill's representative to the Greater Nashville Regional Council's Transportation Policy Board—a role typically held by the Mayor. Through building strong partnerships, we secured nearly $300 million for the Highway 31 widening project and have made real progress on critical infrastructure needs.

Together, we've accomplished a lot:

But what really drives me isn't just checking off projects—it's building the kind of community where our children will want to raise their own families someday. When I look at Spring Hill, I see boundless opportunity. The same qualities that brought me back home to Middle Tennessee are what make our city special, and I'm committed to preserving them while managing our growth responsibly.

This isn't just about policy for me. Jessi and I are raising our daughter here. We're building our business here. We're putting down roots here. Every decision I make as your alderman is focused on making Spring Hill an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

I believe Spring Hill's best days are ahead of us, but the next four years are critical. We need to keep making smart investments in infrastructure, maintain strong fiscal management, and build effective partnerships to bring resources to our community. I'm committed to providing the experienced leadership needed to guide these efforts.

I'd love to hear your thoughts about Spring Hill's future. Feel free to reach out anytime—after all, my job is to represent you.
