ISSUES AND FAQs
What is an alderman?
The Board of Mayor and Alderman (BOMA) is the primary policy making and legislative body in Spring Hill. This is similar to a City Council in many cities. The BOMA consists of eight Alderman (two from each of Spring Hill’s four wards) plus the Mayor.
What about the roads?
Roads must remain our top priority as Spring Hill continues to bring our roads up to par based on the growth that has already occurred. I will continue the work of the current BOMA by continuing to fast track projects on the new I-65 interchange at Buckner Lane and Buckner Road, make meaningful progress on widening Highway 31, in addition to prioritizing forward facing planning on Port Royal Road, Kedron Road, and Beechcroft Road on the Maury County side of Spring Hill.
are roads basically the only important Issue?
Not at all! While roads are the thing that everyone will naturally talk about, we have other urgent infrastructure needs that need to be solved including water and sewer projects. It is important that we have proactive solutions to these issues.
